Gliriel
| Name | Gliriel |

| Age | Young, though definately adult. |

| Outward Appearance | The elf before you seems to look straight through you, as though you're not there. You get the feeling this is not out of menace, though, or even the sense of superiority often given off by those of her kind. No, from the look in her eyes, it is obvious she is a dreamer. Speaking of her eyes, they are easily the most striking of her features, being a bright, emerald green, reminiscent of the forests from whence she originally hails; Greenwood, more commonly known to the world as Mirkwood. She always presents herself meticulously, her hair carefully done up, each of the gowns she dons of the most exquisit fabric and make - the tailor knowing very well how to make the best out of her lithe, frail figure. Not to mention how to best contrast colour against her perfect alabaster skin. Her voice is soft yet lilting, a trait that distinguishes her as a minstrel. And perhaps curious to note, is that her eternal stuttering and stammering ceases as soon as she performs. |

Background
Gliriel, the youngest of two sisters hailing from the Greenwood, set off with her beloved sister Tinulos when they were but adolescents. Their parents heading west already at the coming of the Shadow, they wished to do something good for the Free People of Middle Earth, before they too, would set out to join their kin.
For the elder sister, Tinulos, this time came much faster as it did for her younger sister when the two were ambushed, some four years ago, by a band of rampaging orcs, not far from the settlement Esteldin. It is said that the two Elves were assisted quite suddenly by a fierce Woman, and that without this Woman, the two would not have made it out alive, but one would have to ask Gliriel of the story in order to find out the particulars.
Tinulos was left wounded, though, and upon recovery, she expressed the wish to travel West, to join her kin and wait for her beloved sister to come home.
Painfully shy, but nonetheless determined, Gliriel set out to aid the Free People where she could, bringing joy and hope to hearts where she could touch them.
She had found a house to join, a while ago, as traveling alone had taken its toll on the young Elf, and socialisation was sorely missed. Though she enjoyed her time with house Vanimar as long as it lasted, she had found much corruption within their ranks, and felt forced to take her leave, lest the corruption would taint her too.
