Born and raised in Dol Amroth, Cedur was always an adventurous spirit. As a young boy he used to go to the Anchor Inn right in the harbour, by no means considered a place suitable for children, but known, among other things, as a place where Syd the Pink, the best, the most famous of the Gondorian minstrels, would regularily perform. Little Ced would spend hours crouching in a dark corner of the tavern, listening to Syd's ballads, and learn the words and melodies by heart to practice them later at home. Soon he knew every trick of his master and started performing himself. Dol Amroth turned out to be too small for two great minstrels and young Dobosh left for Minas Tirith, and then, driven by wanderlust, he decided to travel further, and further, and so he travelled for many years until he came to Bree-town, where he found his true love, Drushka. Together they bought a house in a village of Whatflood, on the outskirts of Bree-town and Cedur finally settled down, planted a tree and raised a son.

Nowadays his journeys are mainly business trips, when he's looking for materials to craft his instruments from, occasionally lending his hand and his minstrel skills to bands of brave warriors fighting the forces of the Dark Lord, most of the time though he spends back home, writing the work of his life - a record of knightly deeds of his son, Cedgard.
