Appearance: Eofin can be described as somewhat pretty, although not good looking enough to be considered beautiful. She is quite tall for a woman. Instead of moving with grace or serenity, she walks in a militaristic manner, and has a soldierly look to her. She can usually be found in her hauberk, or some other fighting gear. Eofin's most distinguishing feature would be her eyes, which dart around much like those of birds, sometimes even in the midst of conversation, taking in every detail around her.

Background
The daughter of Theogard, a renowned rider of the Mark, Eofin was raised to become a shield-maiden of Rohan. However, there was one problem; Eofin could not ride a horse.
During childhood, she fell off a horse and broke her arm and has been afraid of riding horses ever since. Eventually, she was forced to confront her fears by her family, but the pressure was too much for her to handle, and she ran away from home with a servant at the age of 17.
Eofin fled north through the wild, managing to survive with the help of her servant, who was a herbalist. One day, she heard battle-cries in the distance, and found a Great Eagle, trapped and beaten. The main attackers had left, thinking that the eagle was dead, and only three goblins remained.
Using all she had learned, she defeated the goblins and rescued the eagle. Eofin and her servant nurtured it back to health, and the three soon became friends. Its name was Taursul, the Forest-Wind.
Unfortunately, her servant caught a sickness and died two years after saving the eagle. Missing the company of humans, she flew back to Rohan on Taursul, only to discover that her village had been pillaged by orcs, and everyone she once knew was dead.
Eofin swore to destroy the Enemy for the murder of her family. She attempted to join the riders of Rohan, but was rejected as she did not ride a horse. The Gondorians did not accept her either, due to her gender.
The Eagle-Rider then flew northwards towards Eriador, seeking vengeance...
