A Naugrim that accounts himself to the Broadbeams clan (although his father is a Longbeard)

His line goes back to Beleriand and Belegost. His ancestors fought beside the great king Azaghâl against the dragon king Glaurung under the union of the mighty noldo prince Maedhros.

To the Noldor that survived the destruction of Beleriand Allrin may seem as a ancient dwarf of the Elder Days.

He loves traveling, a good tale, a good ale, he is also skiled in ancient lore of his people and of the other races, he is known to have dealings with the Elves. As alot of Dwarves he loves to be at the anvil, he specialize in armour.

His home is at the Lonely mountain where he lives with his father's kin: the longbeards, but he is also often at the Blue Mountains where most of his mother's kin (the Broadbeams) lives after the awakening of Durin's bane in Moria.

Allrin the Old: Allrin's maternal grandfather, once told Allrin a story about a Dwarf of the Elder days, a dwarf of Belegost, that fought the wars against the Dark Lord and that fought besides the Elven Hosts against the Mighty ancient dragon. He told Allrin that Dwarf was their ancestors and thus his name passed to him.

After this story, Allrin started to consider himself as a Broadbeam, and started to gather ancient lore and he befriended a Noldor warrior, that taught him all he knew of the Elder days.
