Hallathor wanted to join the navy, sail on of the white ships at first, but Fernmir thought otherwise. Hallathor finished his military academy with a specialization to fighting on horseback. Yes, Fernmir wanted him in the ranks of the roquen, the mounted knights. Dol Amroth is fabled for their cavalry, riding on elegant white steeds and bearing plated armor and winged helmets with blue shields bearing the symbol of a white swan.

But his progress to become a captain is slowed, mainly because he had divided loyalties. Once Hallathor was knighted, Fernmir put more pressure on him. Fernmir teached him everything he needed to know about the world of trade and coin but also about corruption and blackmail.
