Emmellin grew up in Greenwood alongside with her sister and her mother Eovina. Emmellin was a very cheerful and playful child and she was often seen alongside her friends. There was changes in the air, and Greenwood slowly became a place on alert. Her sister decided to travel to the west. Emmellin never understood this decision, why would she go without her beloved family. This caused Emmellin to mourn over her elder sister and several evenings her voice could be heard from distance far, singing laments and lullabies about the forsaken flower that did no longer feel home with her family. Emmellin could never reconcile that she was gone, the sadness in her sister eye's when she left was marked on her memory.

While her mother was a skilled huntress, Emmellin remained watching their home, she found comfort in letters delivered by Hawks and patrolling elves. Letters from her sister and her adventures. Emmellin often enjoyed reading about her new friends and she had found love with a Lord that served an established warband. Emmellins heart got intrigued by her stories, and slowly Emmellin realized that she did not quite feel complete without her sister. This curiosity to see her and her friends and the curiosity to see this fine Lord, and her longings to know more about the outside world frew larger and larger.  When the summer arrived, a large group of elves decided to head west. Emmellin decided to join them, with a hope to find her sister and find peace someplace else.
