Jegauer grew up in a moderately sized city somewhere in the South (inquire IC). Jegauer's father fought by choice in the arena there until he was poisoned by a competitor who was scared to face him. This dulled his father's senses and ability during the fight, so he was defeated easily by his opponent. For that reason, Jegauer despises assassins and the like. Like his father, Jegauer fought in the Gondorian arena, making a name for himself throughout the city for his skill with a spear. It was in this time he was given the nickname 'The Juggler' because of his ability to take on multiple enemies at once, it was said he was better at this than fighting a single opponent. Eventually after accumulating some wealth for himself Jegauer left Gondor to travel Middle Earth.

Jegauer's travels evantually brought him to Bree-town. This is where he encountered one of their most revered criminals, The Ripper, for the first time in his hotel room. There was a struggle and Jegauer began to lose until he was saved by one of his travelling companions, Jorrand. The Ripper fled at the prospect of fighting two well-trained men. From that day forth Jegauer made it his mission to track down and kill The Ripper. He pursued him for years, having sever other encounters and uncovering many important clues which he eventually revealed to the Captain of the Bree Watch at the time Yisabelle. One of the clues was that he found out The Ripper was involved in a medical profession. This helped Yisabelle come to the conclusion that the killer was none other than her physician, Praesule. Whom she apprehended and kept in the jail for several months. 

Jegauer frequently visited the man he had invested so much time into, he fascinated him in a way and disgusted him in others. When The Ripper escaped, he captured a member of the criminal organization, The House of Midnight, and threatened to kill them if they did not end Jegauer's life. At the time, Jegauer was seeing a woman named Sumyyaa who, without his knowledge, was a member of this organization. She had reservations about killing him another attempted to take Jegauer's life. The attack was unsuccessful as Jegauer caught wind of it and trapped the man (Rohdain). He even sawed off Rohdain 's leg as a form of torture. This continued until Sydin helped her organize an attack against Jegauer's life. Jegauer barely escaped with his life and met with Fiontann a lieutenant of the Bloody Dawn. Where he hired two guards to protect him in his new home which he constructed in the Old Forest. One of the hired guards was Annsuel one of his close friends. That was where he lived until Sumyyaa tracked him back down and after being told to leave multiple times, eventually regained his trust. 

The two fell in love and she bore him a son, whom they named Tijman. Within a few months, Jegauer told the members of the Bloody Dawn their contract was complete and they returned home. For a few years, the family lived in peace in the forest. That is until Sumyyaa fell sick and died of an unknown disease. After that Jegauer moved out with his son and the two began to travel together. During this time Jegauer earned quite a name for himself as a merchant, using his previous fame and connections from the fighting pits to make himself rich. It was not long before he declared himself Lord of an abandoned fortress in the Lone-Lands which he had reclaimed and stuck his flag into. Thus began House Amber. Recently, he returned to Bree to recruit a few good men while his son Tijman (now fourteen) stayed back to learn how to rule over the few villages and small towns that they now dictated.

For mysterious reasons. He has travelled back to Bree on his own. He never mentions anything about his past. (Inquire IC)
