Outward Appearance

A burly fellow, standing only slightly taller than the average Breelander, measuring at 5'9, with the typical build of someone that is used to heavy work, in this case, the lumberjack and carpenter's trade, which leaves his rough and calloused hands full of wooden splinters, much to his discontent. He keeps his chocolate brown hair rather short and takes immense care in the well-keeping of his prized mustache, his eyes too are of a brownish hue, typical among his kin.

He walks about clad in a red woolen tunic and an orange jerkin worn over it, which bears many a pocket in which he keeps the most random of tools for his work. His legs are wrapped around a pair of dark grey pants, kept with a belt on his waist, where this burly fellow likes to keep his trusty axe, its blade slightly chipped and made dull by years of continuous wear and tear. He wears a pair of dark boots on his feet, stained with mud and sawdust.

Background

Son to a respected lumberjack and a tailor, it is no wonder that Roswel grew up to take in his father's job. The young fellow would follow his father since the age of ten around the Lumber Camp down on Combe's hill and oftentimes into the Chetwood, to learn the basics and the tricks of the woodcutter's job. As he grew older he expanded his interests to the art of shaping the wood into things of great usefulness, like furniture and other things of daily use, and also the knowledge of building houses.

In his early years at the Lumber Camp, he was always running around, following the orders of the more experienced lumberjacks, his father amongst them. But since the age of nineteen he took on the duties of his father, thus making him one of the youngest foremen of the logging site. At this age he also took with him a very young Tindam, giving him the means to provide for his family. With the passing of time, Ros became a fatherly figure to the three Thistle youths, caring for them as best as he could, whilst working for his pay. Now well on his thirty winters, Roswel is one of the most prominent fellows in his line of work, gathering around him the many men of Bree that he befriended and grew up with, eager to prove that the Bree folk are hard-working and respectable fellows.
