Outward Appearance

For those who might recognise it, his armour clearly states this is a man from Rohan. Sometimes he wears simpler farmer's clothing, but his Rohirric accent may still give his origin away.

His face is worn in the way outdoor work can make it. A few grey hairs begin to line his golden hair and beard. Even so, he is still a strong and intimidating man, as many Eorlings are.

Background

Eorhal was born at his home on the western grasslands of the Mark. His father owned a wide expanse of land where he bred and trained the mighty steeds the Eorlingas love so much. Throughout his childhood, Eorhal learnt more and more about the art of rearing a good, strong steed for a rider. At the same time, he would train with his father's weapons, preparing to take his place in the reserve ranks of the local company of riders.

Eventually married and with a daughter of his own, Eorhal inherited the farm when his parents died. He continued with a happy life until Rohan began to be attacked by hunting parties from Isengard. All his livestock were chased away or slain. He tried to stand an fight, but was overwhelmed and forced to flee for his life.

Chased far through the Gap of Rohan and north by seemingly endless wargs, uruks and Dunlendings, Eorhal did not stop riding until he came to safer lands in Eriador. Not knowing where he was, or whether his family had survived, he wandered with his horse as his only companion, eventually coming across the village of Bree.
