Outward Appearance

Askror stands before you as an average height, slender build, Dwarf whose approaching his prime years. His beard is thick, and bustling with various shades between grey and black. This rich hair ends at the middle of his ears, leading up to a clean shaven head of hairless shine to rival that of a polished helm. The years look to have been kind to this son of the Stonefoot's as his faces bares few scars and wrinkles, though the look of grim determination found within his eyes says otherwise

His skin is pale and toughened by icy chills giving his facial features a round, almost polished, look to them. Like most of his clansmen, his feet are larger and more bulbous than those of the other six houses of the Dwarves. He's often found, when not out trailing beasts through the wilder parts of Middle-earth, wearing heavy boots to extend on the appearance of already impressive foot length. Folk can tell through simply meeting this son of Askr that he holds pride as a high priority, though few would speak of him as an obnoxious fellow.

Background

Work in Progress.

2907 - Askror was born in the largely unknown settlement of Dubanul Thalfor, known as the Valley of Grey in Westron. His father, Askr, was a well known merchant of the Stiffbeards who happened upon the valley one summers eve when his trade caravan camped alittle too close to the secret halls of clan Stonefoot, whom Askror's mother belonged to.  Though Maldri was kept mostly inside, as is most often the case with dwarvern women, the tension between their kin and the orcs and drake-kin whom also call the Grey Mountains home played it's part to bring these two souls together. Maldri chose the adventurous Stiffbeard for her husband, and he accepted.

Several decades later Askror was born, taking his fathers name with the addition of -or for during the labour his mother snapped several of Askr's arrows to relieve herself from the pain of pregancy. In the tongue of Dalish man, whom Askr had spent many a year in company and trade, arrow was pronounced -or.

2927 - Whilst maintaining a reputation as a knowledgable and respectable merchant, Askr was known for his common sense nor his wise ideas unrelated to money making. Maldri accompanied him on all of his trade journeys, content in the thought of safety to be found by the dozens of other armed dwarrow amongst their company. Askror was born on the road,  interestingly in the same manner as his father was. Under an ash tree. Things changed once their child was born and Maldri's father, Mhund, stepped into the scene. Mhund insisted on the Khazad baby being raised in the safety and seclusion of his own hold. Askr, some say reluctantly, agreed to this and continued with his trade missions without his family for company.
