Kellica is from Ashenslades, when she was a child, she was smuggled out of the warzone by her brother Zandro. She has not seen him since, he returned to the battle to attempt to save more of his Kin. Zandro left her with a band of mercenaries, known as Quicksilver. Because of her age, the Leader, Silversun, did not feel the need to put her through any intensive training. He wasn't even sure how long he would have her under his care. Kellica learned the basics of combat, however she lacked in the mercenaries troop's specialty skill, archery.Silversun noticing this, decided to let her go on the next contract that came available to him. This contract was one to escort the noble House Willowshade across the waters.He told her that she could have all the coin from the contract, and she should make her own start in Celondim. He recommended to her to try and get a continual contract with the nobles, as they will always be able to take care of her.

For her lacking in any skill, she used a shield, spear, and a satchel of javelins. Thinking that it is best to wield a long weapon, and a ranged weapon at the same time. She thought this way until she met Viceroy Karnos from the House Willowshade. He noticed her interest in his prowess, and he told her to drop the javelin, and spear. That he would teach her the art of blade dancing. Eager to learn she did so immediately without hesitation. She seemed to have a tiny bit of talent, but most of her efforts are from determination to do well. 

She had a bit of a run in with Lord Zagzeroth. Resulting her ending her contract with House Willowshade. However, she wrote to Karnos wanting to continue her training. Karnos had her meet him atop of Weathertop. There they spoke, and Kellica's motives in life changed that night. It was no longer about contracts and coin, but about something much more.
