Edward 'Ted' Longbranch is quite an ordinary fellow from Bree. Far from being a hero, he is a carpenter by trade. He works hard for his coin and takes good care of his family. Many find him friendly, hospitable and respectable. As an honest and law-abiding citizen, Ted respects the authorities and always pays his taxes. Whilst he does not enjoy great wealth, he earns enough coin to ensure that his family never goes hungry - even in the winter.

When he is not working, Ted can often be found in the Prancing Pony Inn where he goes to relax and unwind. There he enjoys socialising with his friends and fellow citizens over an ale or two.
