| Outward Appearance | Background music for this profile: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zGyVZOunVAg AppearanceThe man you set eyes on is only slightly taller than your average bree man, standing at an estimated 1,83 meters (6'0 feet). Not much else could be said about his stature, as it would not be outstanding in many ways, appearing neither particularly weak or strong for a man of his height. His skin is visibly tanned, suggesting a homeland that sees plenty of sun throughout the year. Somewhat curly hair of a dark, black-brownish color flows down from atop of his head and frames his delicate facial features that are marked by slight hints of age. Most people would estimate him to be somewhere in his thirties. Above his lips, an impeccably trimmed mustache of a slightly curved form quickly catches the eye.
He is mostly seen wearing loose, but well made and fine garments that seem to be taken care of decently, adding to his overall well groomed appearance.
On his belt or sash, depending on his current attire, he carries two leather pouches, a large leather satchel and a small bottle made out of a dark, green glass. Should one catch a glimpse under his jacket, one may also spot a sheathed dagger hanging on it further back. Occasionally, he also carries a small flute with him.
BehaviourThe way this man presents himself most often depends on the company that he is in. Due to his trade, he would prove to be well versed in wooing those of higher status with impeccable manners and a well spoken tongue, yet he can also appear as just a friendly and approachable man to the general townsfolk. Generally speaking, he is a very adaptable man, having made enough experience with the company of many different people to be able to fit in in most places, as much as a foreign traveller is able to, at least.
His time is usually spent in the social hubs of the places he visits, carefully drinking his wine while on the lookout for potential customers. He is a business minded person that never truly stops working, trying to use each opportunity that presents itself to him. Despite his thrifty nature, he certainly does not shy to spend coin on the good things in life. Good food and lodging do have priority for him.
Skills and TalentsNegotiation and persuasion are most useful skills to a trader and Gergeli is certainly skilled in both arts, having pursued his trade for all of his life.
With writing being one of the necessary skills to trade, the man seems capable enough to read and write decently.
He shoots the short-bow as a pastime and has so since he was a little child. Despite being unable to practice as much as he would like to while travelling, he would do quite well should his skills be put to a test.
He knows how to play the flute, but more as a pastime than anything, he is reclutant to play in front of larger audiences. |
