Background
Achazia is a musician and composer. Born in Combe outside Bree, her mother Calanthe abandoned the family when Achazia was just a little girl. Her father was a musician and a farmer, and tried his best to take care of himself and Achazia. Times were hard in Combe, and because of poverty and the war, her father was forced to leave Achazia to find work. He gave her away to family Pinegrove that own the lands and the farm where Achazia's father worked at. His intention was that he wanted Achazia to have a better future. Her father also gave Achazia his lute and told that he loved her under the bright full-moon sky..Then he left , never to return.
The family never treated Achazia differently as their own children, infact the gave her more attention as they always felt symphaty for this lonely child. The daughter of the house Drimmeth took Achazia very fast in her life, and they became sisters by heart. Achazia slowly became very fond of this people that also were affected by the poverty and war, but they never complained and encouraged Achazia to learn her fathers song as they saw her love for music.
Achazia never really could forget her father, and when she turned eighteen she set out on a journey to find answers about his disappearance. After a while she met a group of traveling bards who called themselves The Shades. Achazia was immediately fascinated by their skills and the various instruments they could handle, and she decided to join them as they loved her songs in return. She made friends with these bards and they became an important part of Achazia's life. They called her Miss Songweaver, and Achazia took the name as her surname. They were not really highly thought of as they could not contribute to much in these hard times, but people seemed to appreciate and respect them anyhow, and the songs gave some people hope in the darkness and The Shades got many faithful listeners. Achazia never had second thoughts leaving them, as she loved them very much.
Right after Achazia met this man who changed her life, he was a soldier and much older than Achazia, she immediately fell in love with him and he promised her everything. Achazia has consistently been driven by her heart, and it is not always she can explain her own actions, but she very fast understood a life was about to grow inside her. She was happy, and the thought of her own family made her scream of joy. But the soldier wanted things differently as he could not take the responsibilty. He did not want to take Achazia as his wife as he had to leave because of war and duties, out of sudden he left her.
Endless nights she called for him, and tears never seemed to stop. She waited for him and prayed that he would come back to her.. But he never did... She felt abandoned and let down, first by her father and now this soldier.
Full of shame and despair she traveled home to Combe afraid of what would meet her..She went to Drimmeth and her family and told them everything.. They did not turn their back on Achazia, instead they embraced her into their lives again and protected her in hard times. Achazia gave birth to a baby girl, and she called her Welin.
Welin was a beauty beyond everything, She had big, grey, sparkling eyes and raven-black hair that shined like silver in the ray of light. Everyone looked at her and were amazed by this beautiful and kind child that seemed to make everyone smile.. Achazia often played her songs on her harp, and she created a song called My lullaby for Welin.
Drimmeth's Mother made sure that Welin had everything she needed, and she took care of her and helped Achazia to raise her up in a healthy environment. It often puzzled Achazia why this lady used her life to make sure her family and Achazia and Welin were happy.. no one expected her to do so, and especially not since Achazia was not her own blood..
It was in these times Achazia understood and learned what true love were.. Love is not based on lust, selfish needs nor bloodline.. Love is beyond that. Love is when you feel you want to live and die for someone else. Love is when you put your own needs aside and want to make someone else happy.. Love is when you want to be close to someone whatever it takes....
