Background
Having lived his early life in the shadows of Mirkwood, Saerain is one of many Ndaedeldhrim to have never known Greenwood the Great. It was a source of great strain with his father, in fact, that Saerain mourned not for Eryn Lasgalen; he grew to love the dark wood as the Galadhrim love the light of Lórien.
It was after accompanying his weary father to Mithlond that Saerain was caught in the fall of Edhelion, and he has remained amidst the Blue Mountains ever since, relishing the Ñoldorin culture, yet looking always eastward, longing for his mist-shrouded home.
