| Outward Appearance | 6 foot, 1 inch tall, build like a sailor - muscular upper body, broad shoulders, rather wiry lower body. Tanned skin, emerald eyes and black hair, which is hidden under a weather-beatened hat that has definitely seen better days. He usually wears a long coat made of beige/light brown leather, belted around the hips, where he carries two long, sharpened daggers and a purse. His boots are also made of leather, though a bit darker than the coat; it seems that something is hidden inside his left boot - maybe another dagger? All in all he seems to be a reputable man, but everybody knows - do not judge a book by it's cover! If he is not wearing a long-sleeved shirt, you get to see two brand marks on his right forearm. One shows an 'm', combined with two crossed sabres, the other one is showing a ship combined with scales. A Gondorian fellow could make sense out of them - their bearer is marked as mutineer and smuggler. |

Background
Born and raised in the Beggar's Alley of Pelagir in Gondor; his parents were extremely poor, so he had to go his own way. Pickpocketing, thievery and burglary were normal for him since he was a child, and he grew up earning his money this ways.
Soon after his fifteenth birthday, when he and his best friend Doruil tried to break into a warehouse, the ineviteable happened - they got caught by the owner, a merchant owning a merchant fleet. Recognizing their distress, he offered both of them jobs as seamen, Tavorion accepted, Doruil didn't. From that day on, the young man was a hard-working, but poorly earning sailor, and for five years he went to sea and back to shore and to sea again.
Tavorion liked this way of life, but he wanted more - more gold, more appreciation and to lead, not to be led. After five years - he was a twenty year old, grown up man then - the merchant grew older and wanted to retire. The captain of Tavorions crew grabbed the chance and bought the ship from the old merchant. From now on, he wanted to build up his own business, which meant high risk and danger - but also much gold, for everyone in the crew. They started smuggling exotic goods from the south to Gondor, the rich citizens paid good money, and the crewmembers lived a good life.
All this shouldn't last forever - after two years, the crew's pay got fewer, unhappiness rised, and it all culminated in a mutinity, raised by Tavorion. They killed their captain and the now thwenty-three old Tavorion took command.
