| Outward Appearance | A very young elf with bright, dancing eyes beneath a shock of russet hair. His improbable cheekbones give him a lean, almost sinister appearance but his laugh is deep-throated and rings out often. He walks with a long, loping gait, often humming or whistling to himself. He is wearing a hooded cape over a thin, finely made elven robe. |

Background
A Mirkwood elf fostered in Lórien for safety, Finnehas left the Golden Wood unbidden. As the stars saw fit, he fell into elven company answering to Lord Elrond Halfelven's command. These missions took them far and wide (brethilimbar.shivtr.red). His band scattered for now, he continues to resist the Shadow while intending some day to see the homeland he has never visited, Eryn Galen, reclaimed for the silvan elves.
A Note on Relations between Elven Factions
Distrust between the Sindarin elf Oropher, king of the Silvan elves in Eryn Galen, and the Noldorin elves goes far back, but even so, Oropher recognised the danger that Sauron posed in the Second Age, and reluctantly joined the Last Alliance of Elves and Men. Arguably, this distrust worked out ill for Oropher – his resistance to the command of Gil-galad, High King of the Noldor, likely hastened his death in the Battle of Dagorlad.
Thranduil succeeded his father Oropher as king of the Silvan elves. As a kingdom, Mirkwood kept its distance from Lórien and Imladris, but in the Third Age, when Sauron returned to Dol Guldur, of all the elven kingdoms it was Mirkwood that initially felt the strongest threat. And so, whatever his personal antipathies towards Elrond of Imladris and Galadriel of Lórien, Thranduil cooperated with Gandalf in the imprisonment of Gollum and sent his son Legolas to report Gollum’s escape to the Council of Elrond gathered in Imladris. Legolas’ participation in the Fellowship of the Ring – and in fact the multi-racial nature of the Fellowship itself – also signals that urgent times can foster atypical allegiances.
Thus the aloofness of the Silvan elves towards High Elves is a fact, but not without nuance. Roleplayers should respect this scope – I certainly do. :)
