Born in the Grey Havens shortly before the Last Alliance of Elves and Men.  Schilds parents were both Champions who went to war against Sauron.  Sadly both his parents died in battle leaving him orphaned.  He was raised by his grandfather in the traditions of the militant defenders of the Elven way of life.  When old enough he traveled throughout Middle Earth battling evil wherever he found it.  He has fought in defence of the free peoples throughout his life.  Now he finds himself in Ered Luin and once more his blade is needed to curb the rising evils.
