Straw coloured hair and a maturing beard frame a face rugged beyond its years. Eahlwine's blue eyes are mostly set on the horizon or down to whatever tasks he keeps his calloused hands busy with.

With a strong frame typical of the Eorlingas and a bow-legged stride, Eahlwine is mostly seen with a sturdy seax at his side and when roaming or riding the plains,a spear in hand. His clothes are of wool and leather, the sort to be found typical of someone who spends most of his days exposed to the weather and in the saddle. Only two pieces of decoration sit about his person, both being bracelets, one of knotted leather, and the other of strands of horse hair, most precious to him.

Background

Eahlwine's boyhood paints the typical picture of a herder's son. His family's business was the capture and herding of the horses along the windswept lands of Eastmark. Due to his family's trade, Eahlwine was fast into the saddle, and fast into independence like many of the nomadic people of his clan. Roaming the plains and living in the saddle brought with it a philosophy on life not usually predicted by peoples from other lands.

Often Eahlwine would fetch supper for himself and his family as he was well versed with the sling from his childhood, spending many days honing the skills every boy should have. Being used to time away from gathered masses of his kinsmen, the towns and larger gatherings of his fellow Eorlingas brought with it bafflement and pride in equal measure. He much preferred his time on the plains with his horse, Eadnod and the sky and plains for company.

A time comes in every man's life when an ache for duty swells in his chest and clenches at his heart. And so Eahlwine left his family, taking with him naught but Eadnod and his few meagre provisions and tools. Here comes Eahlwine's time in pursuit of becoming a true Sperewigend.
