Andoche Lohmeyer's childhood was a rough one, spent in a small village outside of Dale proper. He grew up orphaned and causing trouble with other devious youth. One day he was caught stealing by the village watch and brought before the Earl to be judged. The man respected Andoche's honesty and thought he could be reformed. This was where Andoche's life really began. He was invited to stay with the Earl and his family temporarily, learning how to be a functioning member of society. It wasn't long before he was learning how to speak properly with his superiors and how a table should be set. It was at one of these lessons that the Earl's son took a liking to Andoche, his repressed spirit admiring Andoche's seeming 'wildness'. They became fast friends, one teaching the other how to live, and the other teaching one how to be proper. A few months passed and Andoche was adopted. The Earl was pleased not only with his progress, but how well he got along with his son.
