Sumwyn is a Silvan born in the middle of the Second Age in Lothlórien. She grew up among elves whom were craftsmen and builder's that worked only with the finest materials building houses and flets around the great Mallorn trees. She had a good view from her home and for her there was little she thought as beautiful as the evening lantern lights on the Mallorn trees. 
Sumwyn was a dreamer and often she ventured into Galadriel's garden to enjoy the serenity that surrounded her. The flowers, the small ponds, the sound of birdsong and the gentle breeze made her peaceful. She always respectfully avoided the mirror which was for the use of The Lady only. It was through the Lady she knew about the troubles surrounding the realm.
To keep her spirit in peace she often read books, played her harp and worked at one of the vineyards to keep herself busy.

She is now also was a part of Taur Calad, volunteers from Golden wood that wanted to aid and patrol outside the Woodland realm. Their agenda was pure and simple, their goal was to seek knowledge about what troubles that was stirring in the east, they also wanted to keep their borders safe. Sumwyn was not a soldier, but she had this natural talent as a healer and quickly saw the use of herself to her fellow Galadhrim in Taur Calad.
