A wiry wisp of a girl, Tess somehow manages to retain a sweetly feminine figure beneath her loose and sometimes ill-fitted clothing. Rough shorn caramel locks frame eyes of a deep, forest green, and a bright, easy grin. 

A curiosity, she walks about town in a variety of garish, threadbare attire, humming to herself with a secondhand lute strapped to her back. Little is known of her aside from her quirky presence within the Prancing Pony, perched on a table or leaned against a barrel, strumming with surprising skill and occasionally adding in her sweet, high voice with nonsensical lyrics.

"She's an oddity, they say. Never see her without that lute and those peculiar clothes. Where did she get that awful hat, anyway?"

"Does anyone even know who her family is or where she came from?"

"Her songs make no sense. I think she makes up those words, if you ask me!"

"She's a delight to listen to. She'll entertain us all for an hour for tuppence or if someone buys her a pint of ale. Ain't a proper night without a song or two from Tess!"
