| Outward Appearance | Rhody is a red-head in a family with a higher proportion of such than is normal for the Bree-lands. She has pale skin and freckles, and a notable scar over her left eye, as well as some others (that appear defensive to those who'd be able to tell) on her hands and arms. She's just perhaps slightly under the average height for a woman, at 5'4" (162 cm). She's clearly a bit under-fed, and of slight build to start with, such that she could get by with wearing children's clothing, aside from it being a little short on her. The face under the freckles and scar is of rather average proportions, and it's the pale green eyes and red-head's complexion that stand out to most observers. Her eyes don't seem to focus on anything distant, which looks odd to many people. |

Background
Rhody is from one of several Briarwool families in Combe (her birthplace) and Bree-town (where there are fewer). Anyone who remembers her from Combe would know that she had some level of musical talent, and that her father was noted by his co-workers at the lumberyard for a temper, and drinking too much after work. Rhody, her mother, and her little sister often sported some bruises that they never explained even when asked.
About a year ago, she'd left home, and had been seen busking for coins with an old, battered lute. She then disappeared, thanks to another altercation with her father and then a bandit attack while fleeing him. She's since been taken on as the town secretary for Everslade, with some accommodations made for her lasting injuries.
