Born & raised in Archet. He was taught his notes (music) by his late mother, who he favors in manner over his woodsman father (also now deceased). He does, however, have some skill at working with wood & metal..mainly in fashioning the instruments he plays & the sword he carries at his side. Up until the 'Sacking of Archet', he eeked out a living providing tales & tunes for the patrons of the Mad Badger & Combe & Wattle Inns. In his days at the 'Badger' the bar-keep, Caerlon took him under her wing. From her 'Blake' learned to patch-up the cuts & bruises suffered by those who'd had abit too much ale.
