Her early life was peaceful though not overly fun, she would rather read books than play with her friends, which she didn't have. She became more and more closed off and introverted.

Once a man came to her parents home to live out the last years of his life, he was suffering from an unknown disease that would kill him in two years. He wanted to die somewhere peaceful, so he chose the Golden Forest. She suddenly got dropped into i situation where she wasn't comfortable in. Unexpectedly she was wild in love, after spending some time with him.

In the two years they had together he taught her everything he knew, he was a scholar first and foremost, so he taught her the art of researching the past. While that was going on she learned the bow and how to shoot accurately with it.

When he died she lost her best friend and lover at the same time, then she made a vow to help and protect the race of Man, any way she could, in this old land of wonder, despite of their mortality
