Narunel is a curious young maiden with an affinity for nature and music. She began her life in Lindon and had up until some time ago never ventured outside of it. Thus when the chance came to her to join a group journeying to Imladris, she jumped at the opportunity to see more of the world. The hope to perchance read some of the tomes from lord Elronds library and to experience the adventure beyond the confines of her home had her excited beyond belief.

Despite her romantic fantastical ideas about the world that she had never seen, her Teleri heritage calms her youthful lust for knowledge. It makes her take a step back at times to study things from another perspective. It is a skill she learnt from her mother, who despite her best efforts, failed to keep Narunel at home. Narunels yearning for discovering the world was too great, and she would at every chance try to learn more of it. What was beyond that patch of grass, or that fence? Once she arrived in Imladris, she got to know many Eldar whose wisdom she cherishes to this day. Unfortunately she missed the return of Loth i Lonnath and thus she is left to her own devices in what some call Rivendell.

She spends many a day flipping through the pages of lord Elronds many tomes, dusting off the ancient scriptures and engorging in the tales of yore. Since her mother kept her very close, and was afraid of her learning much of the world outside their immediate home, Narunel is doing her best to learn all she can of her kindred, in what way shape or form it may be. The stories come alive in her head, and the visions she sees makes her experience emotions she very seldom could before.

When she is not found in the library, she can be located near the stream outside playing her favourite songs on the lute, an instrument her late father taught her before he passed away some 70 years earlier. It sometimes makes her weep, for his passing and for all the other lives lost.
