On the outside, Anne Ashbark's grim countenance precedes her aloof and reclusive nature. Toward that end she is often seen with her sapphire gaze aimed downward to a book or away in distant thought. Yet despite seemingly having no want for attention and for one who doesn't quite stand out in a crowd, Anne's features showed no shortage of attention posed toward personal grooming and finely made clothes. Her chestnut hair sat combed beneath her shoulders and upon her feet she could almost always be seen wearing a pair of polished riding boots. She was clean from head to toe and had subtle herbal aroma to her intended only to defeat any perspiration that came from heat or walking. 
So it was that Anne was a fresh face in Bree and though she spoke with a polished Bree-ish accent and kept a Bree-ish lastname, her blue eyes spoke rumours of foreign ancestry. Against some convention she wore no indications of marriage on her fingers despite appearing to be in her later twenties.
