Dalawig, son of Earim, is a bard of twenty years from a farm outside Cliving. After the murder of his father and the disappearance of his brother, he began service to a well to do family which was a deep contrast to the simple farming life he had before. Dala is good with horsemanship and with a blade if he truly needs to be though he would rather avoid using one if he can. What few companions he has, find him to be an easy-going man though he can be excited by the smallest of things, some of which tend to be rather childish.  Dala tries his best to stay out of trouble though it tends to find him in the many taverns he enters or it meets him on the road during his travels. 

Alf is his steed, a white stallion with black spots, that is blind. At first, Dala was less than inclined to take the horse in but as a gift from a noble, he decided to at least bond with the creature for show. He ended up creating a rather real bond with the animal and now takes the stallion with him on his travels.
