Background
Belinda lost her parents to a group of Blackwolds when she was eight. She was immediately brought to live with her uncle, Edward Jewelweed, who was her father's brother. She was doted on and coddled by the family, but the only one who truly understood her was her cousin, Daphne Jewelweed. The two girls were very close and Daphne taught Belinda how to fight as she grew up.
When she was thirteen, she could not stand sitting around at her uncle's farm, while evil brigands continued on as though life was fair. She ran away without a word, knowing that if she said anything, she would be stopped.
She has sworn to get justice for her parents, though had put that on hold to journey with Dru to Gondor, because Dru was just too cool to not follow around.
