An old Sindar ellon of Doriath, born near the end of the First Age of the Sun. The son of a master fisherman who was known to sing to the minnow, he fled from his family, home and Doriath after the Second Kinslaying to reach the Mouths of Sirion. Here, thanks to his training as a fisherman, he rose to prominence when the refugees of Gondolin needed to be fed. However, the ship he worked on was eventually sunk by the invading Sons of Feanor. Narrowly escaping death through sheer luck, Raedorion wandered aimlessly for many years, without purpose. He became bitter and sullen, eventually joining a warband of exiles and wanderers in the War of Wrath against Morgoth. Afterwards, during the first part of the Second Age, he settled in Lindon for some time, where he again worked as a fisherman and patrolman. He and his old warband - of whom he had become hir - next joined Oropher and traveled to the Tawarwaith to form the Woodland Realm, where he settled near the Anduin, honing, to his surprise, his newfound skills as a marksman. In the Third Age, Raedorion's warband was forced to travel once again, with Thranduil, to settle in the Elvenking's Halls, after the arrival of Sauron in Dol Guldur. After the death of Smaug, he was mustered as an archer in the Battle of Five Armies, where he lost all of his friends and kin; his greatest wound. He did not make a name for himself in the Battle, and fostered many memories of regret. After the Battle, he became withdrawn, again traveling aimlessly. He eventually arrived back in the Woodland Realm, after the victory of Thranduil in the battle against Sauron, settling in Eryn Lasgalen.
