| Outward Appearance | Lammaen bears the tall stature, dark hair and blue-grey eyes of the men of Dol Amroth. The blood of old Númenor, though diminished, still runs through his family's veins and it shows proudly in his face and that of his parents and siblings. A long scar, once deep but now long healed, traces his right cheek, almost touching the edge of his lips. He keeps his beard short and well-trimmed. Background
Lammaen is a scholar and agent of the Bair Istoth, having served to enrich its collections of texts and artifacts for many years. Unlike his studious brethren, he is not much of a scribe, preferring to go out in the field, be it ancient ruins and libraries or abandoned mines and elven sanctuaries, to seek mysteries yet uncovered.
Born in Dor-en-Ernil to a family of high blood, he is the youngest of his siblings. In his youth he apprenticed as a scribe in the Library of Saphadzîr in the bright city of Dol Amroth and afterwards in the Houses of Lore of Minas Tirith, a privilege of his noble lineage. However, he searched for a purpose beyond the towering walls of Minas Tirith and even the green shores of Belfalas; this he found in battle against the Shadow and retrieval and protection of what ancient lore remained from the hands of the Enemy.
