Paane

Paane Wildewood
| Name | Paane |
|---|---|
| Status | Active |
| Occupation | Singer, performer, battle bard, adventurer at large |
| Age | Far too young at heart |
| Race | Hobbit |
|---|---|
| Residence | Bree |
| Kinship |
| Outward Appearance | Paane (pronounced like Penny, only with a flat A instead of the E) is a bit shorter than the average Hobbit lass and far too thin. Most hobbits would consider her unhealthily so, not to mention - muscles? Really! Quite unseemly. But she seems healthy enough, even if the average Shire resident would agree that she really ought to have a few more meals. She keeps her hair short with a bit of a curl and has tender brown eyes.
Formally known as the leader of the band Cheery Littlebottom's Companions, she took an extended leave after storming out of the Pony in anger, apparently after a tiff with an unnamed lad. The Littlebottoms temporarily hired a new leader, an Elf lady by the name of Celu. Since Paane's return, Celu performs with them as needed as their sixteenth member.
Miss Paane favors long-sleeved dresses of delicate color and only rarely wears armor while in town. She tries not to drink strong drink as she hasn't the head for it, though there are rumors of her having "lady's nights" at her cottage with some exceptional revels taking place. She normally does not favor capes. Until recently, Paane used the surname handed down by her parents, Noaks, or Near Oaks, a reference to her father's profession as a woodsman. She filed a name change deed poll with the Bree Mayor's office and the Shire Archives to a name that she found more comfortable and felt reflected her character better, Wildewood. |

Background
((copied from in-game character biography for now))
Paane grew up in a simple woodcutter's hut in the forests north west of Brockenborings, the only child of loving parents who passed from this world when she was far too young, her father of a terrible accident when she was nine years old and her mother not long after of an apparent broken heart.
Paane, sent to live with her mother's sister in Hobbitton, did not have a pleasant childhood, and the least said of that, the best. She ran away from what could loosely be called her home when she was only twenty and had the good fortune to meet a wandering dwarf bard, Theabromine, in Frogmorton.
Her fortunes forever changed for the better with Thea, Paane found her true calling as a battle bard and began her studying as a musician and also training how to fight. Over the years of Paane's training, Thea put together her band, Cheery Littlebottom's Companions, they based themselves in Bree with occasional tours in other lands. The Littlebottom's are a mixed group with representatives of all the Free People included.
Paane is a singular Hobbit, somewhat moody, and not a deep drinker. She often goes out alone adventuring into places perhaps too dangerous where a company would be more advised. Frequently she is the victor, though sometimes she spends a week or two with the healers. Rarely will she hesitate to charge a group of orcs or even a troll, wielding club and battle drum with equal skill.
