Outward Appearance

Nelendor is a remarkably tall, athletically built man, towering over a majority of folk in the realm (6'8"). His hair, naturally, is of a rich, deep brown that falls just below his shoulders, though he has been known to lighten it from time to time, and most often wear it pulled back or away from his face. His eyes are of a soft, pale green, and carry a deep sense of kindness, serenity, and love behind them - though those with a keen eye can very well see the weight of many millennia upon Ennor within them, harboring an advanced age and burdened with hidden guilt. He tends to dress rather formally - often wearing fine tunics and outfits with intricate detailing, etchings, or jewelery - though from time to time he "dresses down", in a sense, opting to move about in simple, loose, basic apparel. Almost always, his outfits are adorned with pouches or small satchels attached to his belt, and in some cases, such as his traveling attire, could be described as a "ludicrous amount of storage".

Background

Born within the city of Tirion, upon the green hill of Túna, Nelendor is one of the few Ñoldorin Elves still remaining within the realm of Middle-Earth to have witnessed the deep beauty and serenity of Valinórë first-hand.

Upon arriving to Ennorath in the late First Age under the company of Fingolfin, Nelendor had quickly found himself coming to appreciate the natural beauty of the land; though he soon came to take a remarkable interest in the race of Man in particular.

Over the many millennia of his time in Middle-Earth, first residing in the city of Gondolin, then spending a short while in Nargothrond, Nelendor soon found himself with a great desire to uncover the oddities and histories of the races of Ennor, most of which had been lost to time, and took to the many roads and paths of the land in his quest.

Having finally completed his work, and settling down in a relatively humble home in Bree-land with his partner, Fearelhil, Nelendor has reserved the rest of his days to his many musings in peace.

Most recently, to those who carry or read such texts, he would be known as the author of two recently published survival-based educational texts: ''Flora of the Realm: A Traveller's Guide'', and ''Curious Creatures: A Quintissential Guide to the Beasts of Middle Earth''.

Friends
He knows quite a few folk, be they friends or acquaintences, though he holds Egfor, Demlemoth, Syllea, and Fearelhil exceptionally close to his heart.
Relatives
While his mother resides in Valinórë, very much alive and well, he currently only has one living relative on Middle Earth, that being Miraendel, his niece.
Rivals/Enemies
He generally holds none, or at the very least has not come across anyone who could be considered such.
Loves
Writing, reading, baking, coffee, music, studying of ancient texts and lores, Fearelhil
Hates
Orcs and any individual allied with them and/or Mordor, ignorance, bigotry, hunting for sport
Motivation
Serving as a guide to the race of Man, Dwarf, and Hobbit, and making the best of his eternity on Ennor with his friends, and lover, Fearelhil
Quotes
"A raindrop upon the riverbed can cause ripples farther than one might expect."
