| Outward Appearance | Upon first glace, one may think they were looking at a well-dressed willow tree rather than a man. Braegnir towers above most, his gangly arms making him appear even more like he was made of wood. His dark, coffee-brown hair, while normally pulled back and into an unruly bun, was a mess of wild, long curls that were barely manageable. In fact, he keeps his hair much longer than what may be considered fashionable just so that all of it can actually stay tied back.
His face was often haggard as he rarely spends any decent amount of time sleeping or taking care of himself. This has allowed for his face to go gaunt and for his beard to grow as wild as his hair, Braegnir sometimes not noticing just how long it has gotten until he is finding crumbs in it, which was always the final straw for both him and his father.
Despite this, he regularly goes out into the sun to oversee his projects and sometimes to meet with the other merchants of the city when his father is busy. His lightly bronzed skin and dark hair stand in contrast though to his eyes. Like shards of blue-green sea glass, they easy pierce through others with an unintentional sense of judgement, but also a ruinous, stoic sadness.
Braegnir tends towards wearing shades blue and green, though he often wears black when he is meant to meet with important people. He occasionally wears a grey, fanciful, wide-brimmed hat with a large plumage of feathers tucked into the hat band. In one ear, he wears a simple black pearl earring. He also bears a signet ring with his personal emblem of a ship and a flock of birds flying overhead, and a necklace with the small symbol of a crow perched atop a lectern. Those with a keen eye for such things may be able to tell that this necklace is in a more subtly feminine style.
