Idune

Idune Grimsdóttir
| Name | Idune |
|---|---|
| Status | Active |
| Occupation | Apprentice weaponsmith, wayward traveller. |
| Age | 20 |
| Race | Man |
|---|---|
| Residence | Somewhere in the forests of Bree-land at the moment. (Though one would not be able to find a campsite of hers for *some* reason.) |
| Kinship |
| Outward Appearance | Appearance: This young Beorning stands at an imposing 1,95m/6"5'. She has a full head of unruly sunbleached curls, partially contained by braids. More often than not there's a smile on her face: at first a nervous and shy one accompanied by a rosy blush, but this will widen into a happy grin once she is lured out of her shell. Her cute youthful facial features would reveal her young age to the onlooker who, based on her large frame, would have initially estimated it too high. Her eyes are a strange, luminous gold colour, which gives her gaze an almost unsettling air. (To the very few who have seen her in her other form, this feature would all of a sudden fall into its animalistic place.)
Gear: Idune dresses in linens, wools and cottons, which are mostly shades of brown and then some muted blues and oranges. Furs and leathers are a rarity in her wardrobe. The hides she does wear, are of a strange, unusual quality. Even among specialized craftsmen there would be few who would recognize that these tunics, boots, cloaks and bracers are in fact made of Warg-skins and Snowbeast-furs, creatures that are the Beornings' unfriends. She carries a heavy axe which she lifts and swings with a surprising ease. At home it was a simple household tool, but on the road it has become a means of self-defense for this lone traveler. A longbow of Wood-Elven make is usually on her person too, a gift from the Beornings' allies in Taur-nu-Fuin. She also wears a chaotic assortment of jewelry; a honeycomb patterned hairband and cuffs, several beaded bracelets, a few piercings through her ears, and a number of mismatched pendant necklaces.
Travel companion: A great, scruffy-haired hound follows in her footsteps at all times. The creature is frightfully large, no smaller than a calf. He has a fearsome maw and an intimidating bark, but the kindest eyes. Sometimes the girl and the hound can be heard exchanging growls and barks as if they were in conversation, which they are. |

| Friends | |
|---|---|
| Relatives | She is one of Grimbeorn the Old's numerous grandchildren. Daughter of his fourth-eldest son Yssegrim, and Heddah of the Wolf-denes. Has 3 sisters, 5 brothers, and far too many other relatives to list. |
| Rivals/Enemies | No one in particular. Though the goblins who often threaten her home are certainly enemies. |
| Loves | Animals, flowers, sweet foods, sunshine, kind people, family gatherings. |
|---|---|
| Hates | Embarrassment, unfairness, dishonesty, rudeness, destruction of nature, goblins and orcs and the like. |
| Motivation | |
| Quotes | Idune looks up to the woman who asked her "do you mind if I take this seat?". She blushes and nods, but realizing that could be interpreted as "yes I mind" she shakes her head instead. Then realizing that isn't the right message either, she nods again. |
