Bryn is of mixed heritage, with his mother from Rohan and his father from Gondor. Born in the town of Aldburg, relatively near Rohan’s border with Gondor, he experienced some of both cultures, though he spent most of his upbringing in Gondor. His family was reasonably well-off — enough to afford some formal schooling in literature and history. Now that he’s graduated, he’s decided to go off on his own to study old archaeological sites and places of historical significance — though they are far from the comforts of his relatively sheltered life.

A series of (mis-) adventures has led him to keep unusual company. A drive to do good beyond pen and parchment led him to fight the Enemy in Rohan and Gondor, and he was wounded at the Battle of Pelennor Fields. He has now made his way north into Eriador to conduct research about the lost kingdom(s) of Arnor.
