Concerning the House of Lyonsbane

The house of Lyonsbane was a minor house in Rohan. They were most commonly seen by the shores of Snowbourne. They were a rather rich house, for they had numerous serfs and their wood production was envyed by many others. The Lyonsbanes weren't mentioned ever before the War of the Ring, until their village was burned down by wild orcs. . This event is also known as '' The Incident By The Shores Of Snowbourne.''  Eondryt was 16 years old, when the incident took place and he's the only Lyonsbane left alive.

Notable members of the House of Lyonsbane 

• Leofric Lyonsbane  The founder of the House of Lyonsbane. Born somewhere in Eastfold, died in his mid-fourties. Cause of death is unknown.

• ​Adalberht Lyonsbane  Leofric's son. Served Erkenbrand until he died of plague when he was in his late fifties.

• Alfrun Lyonsbane  Eondryt's younger sister. It is said the she was so beautiful, that even the nobles of Gondor wanted to court her. She was never married. Died in the incident (?)

Concerning Eondryt

Born in midwinter of 2994 TA to Thoron and Sigrud Lyonsbane. Eondryt's sister Alfrun was born in 2996. TA. Since his childhood he was interested in old tales of battles which his grandfather Adalberht was obsessed with. Adalberht was a lot closer person to Eondryt than his own father was. He was taught to fight before he even was at the age of ten. However, tragedy struck during the same year. A plague swept across the village of Lyonsbane. The plague struck nowhere else. Adalberht died due the plague along with a few serfs. During those days wild orcs roamed the lands near Snowbourne. The Lyonsbanes were always there to defeat them. Until the year 3010 TA when significally larger group of wild orcs attacked the village of Lyonsbane. Eondryt was knocked unconsious by a warg-rider. When he woke up the village was still burning. He saw familiar faces, slain brutally by the orcs. His own father's head was placed on a spear near the river. Alfrun was never found, mostlikely she burned to death, for she was sleeping when the orcs came. After this Eondryt ventured to Eriador, hoping to find a work to earn his living. Eventually he ended up working as a hired blade.
