Background
Born and raised in a barely-upright hut three miles from a river-port town, Haeben lived the simplest of lives for his first sixteen years.Being an inept shot at any ranged weapon, he left his home without pursuing his father's occupation as a hunter, instead seeking a place on one of the many trading ships that often passed through on the Anduin. None would take on an inexperienced teenager until the strangely-named Hithaeglir came into port to resupply. The captain, Círanlin, took him on as a crewmember, though why he doubts he will ever know. Now, with the enroaching war on their borders, the raiding Corsairs of Umbar make sailing a dangerous job at best, and a downright deadly one at worst.
