Somewhat thin for a longbeard, it seems that whatever work and travels he has undertaken have endowed him with great endurance, making up for his diminished brute strength. Ufedarr bears a serene gaze and is somewhat silent and overall, of serious presence. He has brown hair, which grows freely long, though relatively well tended, as does his long beard. Mostly seen wearing blue, with clothes that are heavier rather than lighter, regardless of the weather or location, for of those kind are the usual garments of the messengers of Thorin's Gate. His right eye is covered by a black leather patch.

Background
~*~
Ufedarr is a Blue Mountains dwarf, though he first saw the light of crystal lamps in the Iron Hills beyond the Misty Mountains. He also belongs to a long family line of messengers: his father, Fedogar, had settled in the first lordship of King Dáin II after marrying his future mother, but upon the death of his wife, Fedogar returned with his son in a caravan to the Blue Mountains.

In Noglond, a place of travelers, hunters and messengers, Ufedarr grew up. Due to a wound received on a hunt, Fedogar had to hand over his job to his son, who until then was only his companion. Ufedarr was able to prove his worth at the siege of Gondamon, in which he earned the honor of serving the Crown on his own merits. Since then he has performed and still performs duties of all kinds, in addition to those of his trade, as the occasion requires: messenger most of the time, he is also a lookout, escort, porter, hunter and combatant on foot in the armies of the dwarves; in the Blue Mountains almost always, but also in practically any place where a dwarven settlement is found, or where he is ordered to do so.
