| Outward Appearance | Tollu appears as an elderly gentle Hobbit. Although he was born into a working family and worked all his life, he almost has the air of the gentry about him. His greying hair is kept neatly short, he is always particular about his appearance, and his nails are trimmed. If one looks close, it can be seen his hands have some sign of his crafting with wood and his basket weaving. Yet still, his hands look mostly soft and cared for. He likes wearing waistcoats, and they, along with pipeweed, are his main indulgence nowadays. His eyes are a cornflower blue colour, and often twinkle when he is telling stories or investigating a possible piece of history hitherto unknown. Quite reserved in manner, Tollu comes into his own when with small groups of friends or family. He finds large crowd exhausting, and does not remain long in any such gathering. |
