Outward Appearance

Catching a glimpse of this slight, willowy elf is often difficult. She has a fey look about her, and moves like a wild beast beneath the eaves of the forest.

She has not the look of the Elves of ancient days, nor does she seem to bear the heavy burden of wisdom borne by many of the Firstborn. Rather, she is a creature of wood and fen, born beneath the stars and the boughs, at home in the glades of Middle Earth, and uneasy in the Halls of Men and Dwarves alike.

She does not look to be overly burdened with possessions, but strapped to her back in a neat leather cord is a shawm, a woodwind instrument not dissimilar to a clarinet, which appears to be well-used.

A delicate clasp at her cloak depicting an open lily flower is the only ornamentation she wears.

Background

-----

Aoidhe is a child of the Nandor and Sindar, but wholly one of Middle Earth. Though young by the standards of the elves, she has long wandered the lands of the south, along the Bay of Belfalas, and later those of Eriador, in Ered Luin and the Northern Kingdoms.

Though she is not shy of the race of men, and has known many who she would call friend, she avoids large settlements, preferring the safety of the wilds and the company of kelvar. Often, she wanders alone, finding songs in the wind, or the winding rivers, but from time-to-time she will meet with her kin and even travel with them, remembering in song those things she possesses no memory of herself.
