Raised since early childhood by the pipe-weed makers Dorimas and Lobugara Oldwood and their sons, Bloponac and Gusland. He is the youngest of the family.
He never knew his biological family but that does not bother him: Dorimas is his father, Lobugara his mother, Blop and Gus are his brothers and there is nothing more to it!

The 3 brothers grew up in Napdown, South of Hobbiton and often visited their grandparents Gormafred and Lasodine in Buckland, Bree-land. Learning old family tales about the Old Forest and all three turning very eager for adventure very early on, and so they quite often got lost in the forest to then be saved and scolded(to no avail as they would retry at the next opportunity!) by their grandparents.
And being home in Napdown didn't stop them from going on adventures, they quickly knew all the Shire very well. Boop especially loved spending long periods of time near the Methel-stage where he would gift food to anyone around. Also the Southfarthing gate was one the children's favorite adventuring spots, as it was just like adventuring out of the Shire!

Boop always loved helping others so he naturally learned cooking, hunting and how to understand the wild to help his brothers on their adventures, these skills followed him into adulthood as he is now known as a reputable Shire cook and friend to the free folks.
Blop taught him music all during their childhood.

Once Blop and Gus were old enough to leave home, Boop kept going on adventures all over the Shire by himself and as far as Bree-land with Dorimas and Lobugara, offering food to anyone in need even if his parents thought that he should sell it instead.

He quickly became popular and caught the eyes of some generous donators, allowing him to leave the Oldwood house and dedicate himself to others.
For a few years he lived in Yarrowbank, near Michel Delving, but once he received enough donations he bought a great smial back in Napdown, next to Blop's and Gus' house.
This great house would become the House of Boops, a place where anyone is welcome to eat and rest for free, as well as work if they are lacking the tools to work elsewhere. It is surrounded by a few houses Boop also acquired to host guests of the House of Boops for longer stays than the dormitory included in the main building.

He now wonders Middle Earth to help the free people, offering them his Hobbit Breakfast Kits as well as any other assistance he can manage.
