| Outward Appearance | You see a young woman with jet-black short hair and gray eyes. She is slender, and you can tell from her movements that not a single muscle goes unused and not a single tendon goes unstretched. She usually wears rugged clothing: leather pants, a shirt, a vest over it, and perhaps a jacket. Sometimes she also wears a kind of tunic whose scales primarily protect her left leg. Simple leather gloves protect her large hands, and her feet are encased in high boots. Sword sheaths hang from both sides of her belt, containing the corresponding weapons. Galarad’s face reflects her life: it is tanned, and small wrinkles show that it has had plenty of exposure to sun, wind, and salt. Her gaze is alert but reserved, and she will always approach others cautiously and with great vigilance. Nevertheless, the wrinkles at the corners of her mouth suggest that she also likes to laugh. |

Background
Galarad lost her parents before she ever knew them: they were fishermen on Tolfalas and drowned when a storm caught them off guard during a fishing trip. A neighboring family took her in, but they already had four children of their own and never enough to eat.
The young orphan became independent early on and preferred to be on her own. At age 15, she stowed away on a merchant ship and reached Dol Amroth. Since she had always shown a talent for handling swords, she began earning money as a mercenary after a while.
Now she is 25 years old and has already seen quite a bit of Middle-earth.

| Motivation | Freedom is vital to Galarad, and she would do anything to protect it. She also loves the beauty of Middle-earth and wants to preserve it, too. |
| Quotes | "I fought so hard to finally leave Tolfalas—and now I find myself longing to return there so often, dreaming of its shores and the sound of the waves... Well, I suppose you can only truly come home once you’ve left!" |
