Born and raised in Imladris, know as Rivendell by other folk, Elamplas was born to his Mother, Elearnor, and his Father, Elarnon. Elamplas was raised and kept in Imladris, with his family, at the age of one-hundred, Elamplas quickly started maturing, and learning about the history of Elven kind, and learning how to wield the blade and bow. Elamplas trained on his own, with his Father Elarnon. Elamplas was noticed by Elrond and a few other battle-hardened Elves, and he was quickly recruited into the Imladris guard at the age of 237. Though Imladris was protected mainly by Elrond, Elamplas did simple tasks such as patrolling the road, and watching the wolves and beasts stay away from the road. Elamplas quickly ranked up to the rank of Captain. He has learnt much in his lifetime, that he is skilled in the use of two blades, and can even use a Bow. During the period of what was called 'peace' for the Elves, Elamplas prospered and learnt about his heritage, and the Elves, and Middle-Earth. Elamplas soon asked more, and wanted to travel the outer world, so at the age of 864, Elamplas was given word to travel to distant lands such as Annúminas, Lothlorien, and what is now called Mirkwood. Elamplas travelled far and wide, helping the Rangers in Esteldín, which was hard and brutal for Elamplas as he was the only Elf there, alongside the Rangers. Also Elamplas travelled to Annúminas, which is now wrecked and has been took over by the Angmarim. One such place that Elamplas travelled to which he will never forget, was Lothlorien, the golden wood, where he met Lady Galadriel, Elamplas did not look into the mirror, yet he spoke with Galadriel. After years of travelling, and meeting many friends, Elamplas returned to Imladris, where much had seemed to change, many had left to sail, and there was news of movement in Angmar, that it had been took over, and that evil was rising there. Elamplas and a band of thirty Elves travelled to Angmar to see, Fornost was also a place where you would not dare go. They arrived at Angmar, in the barren lands, seeing the sky had changed and that day was night, and night was darker and queerer than before. It was when the band approached what is now Carn Dum, that they found out what had happened. The place was evil, and changing, there were Orcs there, and other foul things, Elamplas saw that there was not enough in his band to rid of him, no where near enough, so decided to find a place to camp and hopefully, somehow, get word to Elrond of what had happened. Yet they did not, and they were ambushed, and chased by the Orcs, only seventeen Elves survived, as there was about Eighty Orcs, Elamplas had made a mistake to stay, and that was left in his mind forever, knowing that he must never make that kind of mistake again. Elamplas and his now smaller band arrived back at Imladris, Elamplas was now 1143 years old. Elamplas explained to Elrond what had happened, both to his band and Angmar, Elrond claimed he had foreseen that something wrong was happening in Angmar, yet he said that he did not expect that this was happening. Elrond gave orders to Elamplas saying to give word to Eriador, and it's lands, and the Rangers, and the Elves of Ered Luin, and the Dwarves of Thorins Hall, so Elamplas set off on a long journey to tell the races of Middle-Earth, after long travelling, more helping, and more friends, Elamplas returned to Imladris, and stayed there for a number of years, resting and meditating, and learning more. Elrond could see that Elamplas was tired and wary, so gave word for Elamplas to stay at Imladris until he was ready, and when he was, to see Elrond. After what seemed like an age to Elamplas, Elamplas went and spoke to Elrond, the two talked for a long time, deciding on what to do as the other lands did not know. Elrond told Elamplas to go to Rohan, Gondor, and Lothlorien and tell the folk there about Angmar, so Elamplas set off on another long journey. Elamplas had finished his travelling and returned to Imladris, and returned back to his original post, Angmar had been on the move so Elamplas had much more to attend to in the "Trollshaws" Elamplas made sure he did not fail in his tasks, and he did not. Elamplas soon helped in the lands surrounding Imladris, yet they kept on coming, and soon Elamplas began getting wary again, and so Elrond sent Elamplas to Ered Luin, to help in what seemed like matters there for the Dwarves, in Edhelion, Elamplas helped there against goblins and even a troll. Before finding out about the Dourhands allegiance with the Angmarim, having found this out, Elamplas quickly returned to Elrond in Imladris, and told him of the news, Elrond then told Elamplas to travel to the town of Bree, but to make sure that he wasn't noticed there. Elamplas knew why, to watch over as the movements of the Orcs of Angmar had grown, and were now near Bree, so Elamplas went there, and watched, and occasionally went to the Inn, though he despised the place, Elamplas grew to like some of the travellers there, and also Elamplas met one Rohirric woman named Gwenbur, who Elamplas grew close to. Elamplas soon had to return to Imladris to report back to Elrond, telling him that the Orcs of Angmar were not closest to Bree, but a band named the "Defiant Daggers" were. Elrond sent Elamplas back to aid the guard, but to still keep a low profile. Elamplas did as he was told but soon grew bored and disliked the place, so soon returned to travelling helping all lands, trusting that the guard could handle the Daggers themselves, Elamplas was wrong, this thus being the second huge mistake of his long life. Elamplas though did not stay at the town, and returned to Elrond, telling him what had happened in Bree. Elrond understood that Elamplas did not like it, and then soon sent Elamplas to Annúminas, where it was rumoured the Angmarim were moving into, Elrond went there and aided the Wardens of Annúminas, but the Angmarim were more. Elamplas returned to Imladris, on the way stopping in Bree for a few nights to talk to Gwenbur, and told Elrond what had happened, and that the Angmarim control of Annúminas was vast, and not the way it was going, there would be no chance of taking Annúminas back. Elrond understood, and sent Elamplas to Mirkwood, to aid there, Elamplas did as he was told and captained the rescue of a few important Dwarves in Dol Guldur, Elamplas was positioned in Mirkwood, and soon rose to the rank of Captain, with his own squad, Elamplas aided the folk of Mirkwood and the folk of Lorien as much as he could, Elamplas soon was wounded, travelling there with Gwenbur to see the gravestone of a friend of Elamplas' and Gwenbur's lover, Telfaras. Elamplas was shot, so had to return to Imladris, though on the way back, they both had to travel through Moria, where by chance Elamplas and Gwenbur met a friend named Cirdu who was looking in there for his Father, because of the Dwarves occupation of Moria, the three saw it fine to travel in there now, how wrong they were. Elamplas was soon captured, as the caverns of Moria were dark, and Elamplas at the back, Elamplas was took, ripped off his armour, and tortured slightly for a few hours. A troll was watching over him, yet Elamplas had hope, and his friends soon found out and picked up the trail, and rescued him, though Elamplas was wounded, scared, and petrified, he told Gwenbur and Cirdu to leave Elamplas with the Dwarves, and that they would tend to him. Elamplas was tended to and sent a dwarf messenger to Imladris with a note on Elamplas' report on what had happened. After about a month, a message was returned ordering Elamplas to return to Mirkwood, and to aid there, and to stay there permanently.
