Halgilad was born as 'Daernaer Aeriallon' on the 12th October 609 S.A. to Lady Elanorial and Aeoral. He grew up in a small outpost on the edge of The Mirkeaves with his Mother and Father and Younger sister Aralonia. When he was old enough. his father traied him in the use of blades and bows, Halgilad used them daily to perfect his skills. Soon Halgilad joined the band of scouts at the outpost and accompanied them in small assaults on the foul creatures inhabiting the forests. He then was highly recognised and so became a guard, hiding in the trees on the borders of Mirkwood, keeping a keen eye upon the landscape scanning for movement. He spent most of his life as a warrior and Guardsman of Mirkwood. Many years later, Halgilad's family then decided to sail. His father tried for days to convince him to go too, but Halgilad wanted to stay and help fight. After a solemn departure, Halgilad returned to his duties upon the Talans. This is when he heard of a small cohort of elves fighting a band of orcs, outside of Mirkwood. He decided to join them so left The Mirkeaves and Headed for the cohort. He passed through Bree and stayed among the Patrons of 'The Prancing Pony' for some time. He was in the back room one day when a beautiful Elf maiden stumbled upon him and asked for directions. He felt something click inside him at once and immedietely fell for her, though he did not show this. He helped her get to where she needed to and they got talking. During their conversation, Halgilad let on the fact he liked her. Their feelings progressed, and so did their actions. They spent a lot of time together until Halgilad had to move out to join the cohort for his set time. Many weeks later, he returned to Melquen after his sucessful experience among the other elves. During his time at the frontline, he could not stop thinking of Melquen and wished to ask for her hand, he considered it very much throught the cold nights. Upon his return, Halgilad gave in to his feelings and knelt before Melquen offering himself and an Emerald Ring to her. After she agreed.. They travelled to Falathlorn and they were wed. He now stands by her, hand in his without a fear to call Melquen his wife.
