Travelling further east from Edhellond, hîril Ealendil pauses at the banks of river Gilrain on the southern slopes of Ered Nimrais. The surroundings are breathtaking and the peacefulness a balm for weary spirits. Oh, how she longs to remain forever… "Was it here Nimrodel tarried so long ago, missing the ship that would have taken her and Amroth across the sea…", she wonders.

Just south of the abandoned elven port Edhellond, hîril Ealendil pauses, her gaze drawn west across the great sea towards the Undying Lands… "Was in it in these waters Amroth met his fate so long ago…", she muses. With a pang in her heart she suddenly misses her mother.

Late in the afternoon, hîril Ealendil has carefully moved around to the north side of Edhellond. The view reveals trees in full bloom and the old elven port appears completely desolate, yet there are small signs of recent presence.

Carefully approching Edhellond from the south side, hîril Ealendil makes a closer survey of the old elven port.

From a neighbouring hilltop, hîril Ealendil surveys the long ago abandoned elven port of Edhellond.

To the Dance of Summer

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Story

After days of travelling, I and Avorwen have finally reached the fairgrounds of Ered Luin. The Elves of Celondim were celebrating the coming of summer, and it is not easy to deny such an invitation. Thus we walked to the pavilion south of Celondim.

A few elves were already there. They were natives, but it did not take long for more familiar faces to join us. Lots of new faces we met, and we lots of long-lasting friendly bonds we established with them.
