Company of the East Road

The Man's hand stretched out in what seemed to him like a flash as he stumbled backwards while the arrows found their mark within his chest and side.

Daphne had rushed to dress herself and run a brush through her hair before knocking and stepping over to where Anastasiar was trying to get into the wedding dress, without letting it touch the floor.

"I'm glad I took part" Amaken thought, laying in bed after the tournament with Anastasiar at his side. He looked at her peaceful expression and only wondered what the wedding will be like. They asked Furley for presiding over the ceremony and he agreed. They decided on the venue.

"It's today" Amaken thought to himself when riding to the kin house to take part in the tournament. At first, he was pretty excited as Kildwin's announcement reminded him of childhood spars with his friends using wooden swords in Dale. He was no stranger to combat, having come a long way but he was anxious to perhaps prove to himself, and to Anastasiar as well, that he could protect himself and others in need. Tapping his pouch to make sure the ring was in there, he smiled for a moment. He announced his intentions to Ana but did not present her with a ring.

„If you gaze long enough into the abyss, the abyss will start gazing back.“
