Buckland

Itchy feet

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Story

Shire life was good, Everardo was comfortable and well fed. Folk were friendly on the banks of the Brandywine in the Marish and Buckland to. The ferry was a centre of activity, people produce and of course gossip.

Not many big things ever happened but there were plenty of little things to chatter about and maybe that was it.  He’d decided to volunteer as a Bounder to expand his horizons... to find another subject to talk about, something really interesting ideally!

Three Is Company

Diary

It's been an hour since my last meal, and nearly a day since my meal before that. Aside from a few cakes and biscuits I managed to pack, my diet has become rather scanty. My thoughts have remained with Blackberry, and some good news and fortune regarding her dire situation has seemed to inspire hope in me, and of course replenished my natural appetite.

Due to the increasing threat of spiders inside the Old Forest, Atharan decided to camp out around the Bonfire Glade, just beyond the old tunnel that leads into Buckland.
Fighting back the spiders was the main priority to keep the halflings of Buckland safe.
With help of Tom Bombadil and the River-maiden Goldberry this attempt was succesful.

A Bit Peculiar, Part One

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Story

Tollomac was strange, even by Brandybuck reckoning (which is saying something). As a small hobbit lad, he had taken to collecting stones—bright ones, shiny ones, odd ones that caught his fancy—all of which he would polish by hand, or leave in a special net in the sandy bottom of a stream or river.

Herbalists journal #6: Unnecessary delay

And in Buckland I conclude my trade weeks in the Shire. Farmers fayre this year was quite a succes. I have enough supplies to restock my inventory, the costs of these supplies are covered by my trade earnings. Especially the herbal teas and merry morning draugths were sold with succes. Halflings hardly dare leave their borders and therefore have little need for soothing balms or other healing draugths. Only the Tooks seem to get themselves some injury once in a while.

Leather Bound Book, 2

Diary

This week has been fairly busy. I was scouting around Bree-Land again, south of Bree, when I came across a half-orc camp. I made the mistake of showing myself too early and my luck the orc wasn't alone. I am a bit surprised I wasn't struck down there, but I am willing to be called a wrench if only to get out alive.
