It seems a great deal has happened since I last attempted to write an entry..

The great gathering at Lin Giliath war was waged and victory was acheived but at a cost..

New friends and friendships found and forged.. I was truely honoured to be amoungst so many noble folk who saught to meet the threat was a humbling and sobering experience.. Some paid dearly for their bravery.. but they will not be forgotten! Twas a marvel to see so many folk from so many backgrounds and cultures stand willingly side by side for a comon cause..

The air has that hint of chill to it that signifies the ‘fading’ is almost upon us. Though warm and bright have been the days of late, come aduial the stars shine in a cold, crisp sky. Some of the bird flocks are seen no longer over Lindon, having started their journeys south, to warmer climes. The land-bound animals’ fur grows thicker, and those who will spend the coming season in deep slumber are searching diligently for a place of safety to call ‘winter-home’.

It was a joyous sight to see my friends nay Brothers and Sisters! of the Watch, gathering with haste we convened on the edge of the Lonelands in a discreet but
not hidden place. Aearandir and Aearlinn had already made a temporary camp with greetings exchanged it was not long before Hirgonui arrived with several

Now it was that the dream weighed upon my thoughts that my heart lacked its usual joy. It had been my intent upon that same day to seek out Curugirion and ask for his considerable wisdom on the matter, but it was Aearandir who again restored peace to my spirit.

The blood dripped slowly into the bowl in my hands, turning the clear, pristine water to an opaque crimson. I watched, horrified, yet frozen in form, unable to move aught save my eyes….

Of Blood and Water

Blood and water – so I beheld in the Great Hall as Aearandir tended to the cuts upon his hands, the scrapes and gashes upon his arms - so did my foresight warn me in vision brief of much blood to be spilt in days ahead, that no amount of water would assuage. Naught was there I could do to prevent that which nigh quailed my heart, save my very best to guide my herth to safety when it mattered most.

And so it was that, upon Solstice Eve - the Eve of Turuhalme - Aegledor was welcomed into the Loth-i-Lonnath, even to the wearing of the blue, rather than the grey of a recruit.

First Battle.

It was the stench – the smell of fetid water, rotting food and flesh, of uncovered excrement and that in vast amounts that all but unnerved me. I had, to my sorrow, taken life before in need; seen blood spilt and aided swiftly the death throes of my opponents. But never had I encountered such large a stronghold of goblins – with all that entailed.
