Shortly before they decided to make their way to the relatively private area, Khalis had advised Nelnardis to speak to Hiril Elisbeth, leader and lady of the Warband - causing the young Leutha Maethor concern. He left the two, leaving Faorie and Nelnardis standing alone beside the Homely House. Hiril Nelnardis has returned from the east but not with her companion Ebbephant. Terrible news she carried back to Imladris. Hir Ebbephant has been wounded in battle and is being tended by the healers of Lothlorien. I was in disbelief as Hiril Nelnardis shared the news with Hirils Elisbeth and Faorie upon her return. From the news she bears the wound is a grevious one, which even if he should recover from in body could take his spirit much longer.

We have now returned to Imladris from travelling through Eregion and onwards into Enedwaith learning what we could about the taint which was creeping towards Imladris.

There had been subtle signs noticed by the warders of the vale which had prompted Hir Elrond to summon council to discuss the matter. He had then sent two of the most trusted members of the warders myself and Hiril Elisbeth to discover how far this taint had spread and any other obvious signs which might show them away to cure the problem.
